Take your time

In English, there’s a phrase I’ve always found quietly comforting:
“Take your time.”

It’s something people often say to each other — softly, kindly — as a way of saying:
There’s no rush. You don’t have to hurry. You’re allowed to go slow.

For a long time, I didn’t know how to live like that. I often felt like I was behind — not moving fast enough, not figuring things out quickly enough, not becoming “someone” soon enough.

In a world filled with highlight reels and big milestones, I found myself wondering:
“Is it okay to just be… in progress?”

OrdinaryMei was born on those days — the quiet ones, when I wasn’t sure of my worth, but chose to keep going anyway.

Over time, I’ve come to realize that everyone blooms differently.
Growth doesn’t always look loud or spectacular.
Sometimes, it’s soft. Slow. Unseen.

This space is for those who are still unfolding — gently, honestly, and wholeheartedly.

Here, you’ll find:

  • Thoughts on self-worth and peer pressure
  • Reflections on emotions, identity, and purpose
  • Small, soft reminders that you’re not alone — and you’re doing just fine

Thank you for being here.
Wherever you are on your journey, I hope this space reminds you:
It’s okay to take your time. It’s okay to bloom your way.

Welcome home!
